Mood – art and technology combined in Finnish aluminum picture concept. Mood art pictures are produced using a digital coating technique developed in Finland. At the Habitare ’07 Ahead section Mood launches Mood Finland pictures designed by Helorinne & Kallio and Tiina Aalto. Mood introduces the limited edition collection and reveals a new Mood special size issue at the fair.
Mood is present at the largest furniture and interior and design fair in Finland – Habitare ’07 19. – 23.9.2007 at the Helsinki Expo Centre. You can find Mood in the Ahead! Design area in section 5A4.
Mood aluminum pictures are made using an advanced digital coating technology from Finland that makes the folding of the edges possible without breaking the print surface. This brings about the three dimensional form that characterizes the Mood picture.
Mood pictures offer a new possibility to space design and finish. The special properties of the pictures gives images and textures new areas of application such as outdoors where they are subject to and moist sun light. The extensive Mood collection offers several options to create the desired ambiance. It is build to suit private clients as well as interior design projects.

First we renewed the technology and the material, next we renew the traditional picture format! At the Habit are ’07 Fair Mood reveals its special size range of art pictures.
Mood has enlarged its collection with a numbered series Limited Edition. The collection is constantly enriched with new artists and designers working with digital techniques. At the Habitare ’07 Fair Mood presents a new Mood Finland collection in size 45 x 35 cm. The collection is a study in Finnish mood, experiences and constructs.
Four friends founded Oy Mood Works Ltd in April 2006. The aim was to create a picture product that would be different from the traditional materials and technologies and would give digital pictures and art a foundation. The instigator was the digital work of one of the founders, Annastiina Andersson.
In Finland Mood has successfully implemented several projects in Hotels and Ships as well as built a network of high quality retail design and furniture trade partners. Mood has trade partners beside in Finland also in Denmark. Mood is looking forward to expansion into other markets in 2007.
